When Holy Spirit School opened our doors in September of 2000, we were the newest Catholic school in the Diocese - a vision of Catholic education in the new millennium. Since then, we have graduated 933 students, we have harnessed technology to enrich our academic curriculum and our co-curricular and extra-curricular programs have broadened to address the changing needs and interests of our students and parents.  Along the way, we have become a school recognized for graduating critical thinkers who put their faith into action to benefit their broader community. 

Father Thomas Murray, our parish's founding pastor, generously created a fund 20 years ago to benefit Holy Spirit School. Today the Father Murray Holy Spirit School Legacy Fund builds on his generosity and allows his gift and yours to provide an opportunity for families that might not otherwise be able to afford a Catholic education to attend our school. 

This legacy fund will provide tuition assistance - not only to help students today -  but to grow in perpetuity and ensure our legacy for future generations of students in San Jose. Your donation will support our school starting today and help Holy Spirit School remain sustainable tomorrow. 

Please consider a generous financial gift to our Legacy Fund to continue Father Murray’s gift of Catholic Education for future generations. His smart money management allowed him to bequeath $330,000 to Holy Spirit School to provide support for students in need of tuition assistance. Our goal is to increase the value of this legacy fund from $330,000 to $450,000! With Father Murray’s generous gift as the starter, we can raise $120,000 as a community and make this goal a reality.
